Lavender Growers host new site
The Sequim Lavender Growers Association (SLGA), which produces and manages the Sequim Lavender Festival®, July 15-17, has opened its new website at www.
The site has links to Facebook, Twitter and e-mail, and easier interfacing with Smart Phones, iPADs and Tablets.
“We recently welcomed OlyPen in Sequim as part of Team Lavender for our service needs,” said SLGA president Terry Stolz.
Mother’s Day portraits available
Reservations are available for Mother’s Day portraits to be taken on May 7-8 at McComb Gardens, 751 McComb Road, Sequim, by professional photographer Iantha Frazer.
Each “mother” will receive an 8-inch by 10-inch portrait and a disk with the digital negative.

Spring decking event is Friday

Blanchard a finalist for Small Business award
Mindi R. Blanchard, founder and president of Bridge Builders, Ltd., was nominated for the SBA Small Business Person of the Year Award for Washington.
