Chamber of Commerce goes live with new website

Sequim Gazette staff

This Thursday, the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce launches a new website at

Sequim-based InsideOut Solutions created the site. The chamber board of directors and staff feel the site has a fresh and vibrant look and is a great improvement over the current website.

The site adds better visibility with improved search capabilities, is easier to read and understand, and contains a blog about chamber and member events.

Members will be offered improved features such as ads, photos and member pages that will be easy to maintain.

Jean Wyatt, chamber board member and website committee chairman, said the upgrade of the website was necessitated by changing technology.

“The old version had grown difficult to maintain by chamber staff, members and our provider,” Wyatt said.

“This new website utilizes current technology that will be easy for chamber staff and members to update, thus allowing the site to be more dynamic and responsive.”

The chamber of commerce, 1192 E. Washington St., can be reached at 683-6197.
