Estes Builders ranks highest in the nation for homebuyer experience, according to Avid Ratings, the largest independent new home survey company in the country. Estes Builders has earned the 2013 Avid Custom Builder Diamond Award, the highest customer satisfaction award presented to custom builders in the U.S.

“Based on these results, Estes Builders is one of America’s finest builders, with customer satisfaction scores that consistently rank in the top tier of our nationwide survey of homebuyer satisfaction,” said Paul A. Cardis, CEO and founder of Avid Ratings.

“This survey is not a few simple questions,” said Rick Gross, customer service manager for Estes. “It evaluates builders in 56 key areas that influence a customer’s experience. Not just construction quality, but also important areas, such as price, satisfaction with design, finishing on time, thorough explanation of the building process, prompt and accurate answers to questions, and many more.”

“Extras and blown budgets are the biggest cause of a bad home building experience,” said Estes custom home advisor Nell Clausen. “It takes tremendous planning, expertise and work to eliminate cost overruns. We have created a method to remove the financial risk to our clients by having a clear, accurate and guaranteed price.”

“We don’t rest on our laurels,” owner and president Kevin Estes added. “We were ranked second in the nation in 2004 and we constantly have ranked among the top 5 percent in the nation. We continue to learn and improve every day.”

Founded in 1989, Estes Builders designs and constructs custom homes throughout the Olympic and Kitsap peninsulas. Visit or call 800-630-4399.
