CCGS to host open house


The Clallam County Genealogical Society, 402 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles, will host an open house from noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at its research center. If you are interested in beginning a search for you ancestors, a “Beginners Who Know Nothing” class will be offered from 12:30-2 p.m. open house day. The class is free to society members. A $5 donation is requested from nonmembers to cover the cost of materials.

 

For the more advanced researcher, a “Brick Wall Forum” also will be held at 2:30 p.m. A donation of $5 is requested. Participants are encouraged to call and sign up for the class and the forum prior to the events.
