First Step Family Support Center employees, from left, Staci Matthes and Amber Hosken receive donations from First Federal’s Sixth Street Branch employees Bobbi Stringer, Gayle Frey, Terri Wood, and Doniell Wyant. First Federal, with branches in Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap, and Whatcom counties, has participated in the America’s Promise Alliance for many years and collects and distributes school supplies to benefit the community and support local student success. Donations are made by First Federal employees and customers. Each First Federal branch selects an agency or organization to receive the donations made to that particular branch and this year the Sixth Street Branch selected First Step Family Support Center. First Step is a United Way member agency which provides support and education services to thousands of local Clallam County families as part of its mission to promote the healthy development of children and families.
