Wind Rose Cellars in the books again

Wind Rose Cellars of Sequim is again partnering with the North Olympic Library Foundation, the Jefferson County Library and the Port Townsend Library Foundation to produce Library RE(a)D, a 2011 Washington wine.

Library RE(a)D is now available at Wind Rose Cellars, 143 W. Washington St. in Sequim, as well as local wine merchants including Renaissance (Port Angeles), Nash’s and The Red Rooster Grocery (Sequim) and the Agnew Store, Quilcene Village Store and Chimacum Corner.

Sales benefit all three libraries and enhance library services. An exclusive vintage, only 24 cases were produced.

“We at Wind Rose had fun working with the libraries last year and we wanted to do it again,” said David Volmut, owner and wine maker at Wind Rose. The wine is 50 percent Barbera and 50 percent Primitivo grapes, he said.
