Sequim Senior Meals and OlyCAP got a boost recently, thanks to Robb Campbell of Miller Signs.

When contacted for an estimated price to produce a sign for the program committee, Campbell offered to donate this to assist low-income Sequim seniors in more easily accessing a week-night hot meal.

This sign will be added to the monument sign on the corner of Fifth Avenue and West Maple Street to make identifying the Senior Nutrition Site more apparent.

Sequim Senior Meals and OlyCAP’s Sequim Senior Nutrition Site dinners are served at 4:30 p.m. on weekdays at Suncrest Village Retirement Apartments, 251 S. Fifth Ave., Sequim.

People 60 years and older may RSVP 24 hours in advance at 683-8491 to participate.

A voluntary donation per meal is suggested and no one is turned away, program officials say.

Sequim Senior Meals committee’s goal is to develop an ongoing base of community support through monthly sponsorships.

To contact and/or donate to Sequim Senior Meals, send contributions to Sequim Senior Meals, P.O. Box 3697, Sequim, WA 98382.
