Aloha Automotive in Carlsborg may have closed in December after 31 years of business, but Bob Roth is giving it a second life as Olympic Automotive Repair.

Roth reopened the full-service auto shop as manager in March and plans to buy it from Dennis Fernandez, who retired from the business but remains the owner.

With more than two decades in the auto business, Roth is the only employee at Olympic Auto but he plans on hiring as business grows.

“Right now I’ve been putting in a lot of hours trying to keep up with jobs,” he said.

Olympic Automotive Repair has the same phone number, 683-7630, and location, 164 Sawmill Road, as Aloha Automotive and operates from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
