Salon expands services
Jolie Salon owners Angie Heaton and Bonnie Ferguson have added nail and foot care and skin care to their salon at 10127 Old Olympic Highway in Rock Plaza.
Diane Amundson trained at Cascade Beauty School in Seattle and has been licensed since 2004. She specializes in complete nail care and nail health. She will be doing basic foot care with nail trimming along with full pedicures, manicures, gel and acrylic nails. She is available 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment. Call her at 504-2283.

Hospital thrift shop open Saturday
The Sequim Dungeness Hospital Guild Thrift Shop, 204 W. Bell St., Sequim, is open from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sat., Jan. 21. All white tag items will be marked at half price. Volunteers always are needed. Call 683-7044.

Painting open house
Hartnagel Building Supply will host a Painting Open House from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24.
The public is invited to come learn about Valspar and Parker Paint, as well as a variety of stains. Professional painters also will be available to answer questions about interior and exterior painting projects, including Collins Painting, D&K Painting, Northwest Inside Out Painting and Wiley’s.
