Primary Care Sequim & Walk-In Clinic, 520 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim, sponsors a Salvation Army Angel Tree.

Patients are welcome to stop by and “adopt” a needy child.

Staff and patients sponsored 28 children in 2009.

Live trees at Henery’s

Henery’s Garden Center, 1060 Sequim-Dungeness Way, Sequim, has received a fresh shipment of live trees, which can be displayed for the holidays and then planted in the yard.

Red Rooster Grocery accepts stamps

The Red Rooster Grocery, 134½ W. Washington St., Sequim, is accepting EBT/Food Stamps.  

Food and beverages, except beer, wine and hard cider, can be purchased via EBT.   

SNAP EBT cards also may be used to purchase seeds and plants intended to grow food.

The store is open 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
