After 31 years in business, Dennis Fernandez is closing up shop. His popular Aloha Automotive repair business, located on Sawmill Road in Carlsborg, is now officially shuttered.

Fernandez said the business has been good for him and for his family but, “It’s time to retire.”

Fernandez is extending a “thank you” to all his faithful customers.

Fernandez isn’t going anywhere. Although he is considering selling the auto repair facility and his adjacent home, Carlsborg will remain his home.

Fernandez also says he’s available if customers need a referral for a reliable auto repair service. Give him a call at 683-7630.

Trivia time: Fernandez is a native of Hawaii, where he lived until he was 21. He then moved to California and in 1976 moved to the peninsula. “Aloha” is a tribute to his original home.
