OMC employee’s increase pledges to United Way

During the 2016 United Way Campaign, Olympic Medical Center employees donated more than $109,000 to the annual employee fund drive. “The OMC employee campaign represents a 35-percent increase in giving from 2015,” said Christy Smith of United Way of Clallam County. Funds were raised from an employee giving campaign and a popular gift basket raffle. “The raffle alone raised $5,330. The gift baskets this year were amazing.” The United Way Campaign has raised over $709,000 this year and is working toward a goal of $800,000.

Donations can be directed toward a specific nonprofit or placed in the community fund. United Way will continue to collect donations for its 2016-2017 Campaign until March 31. Donations can be dropped off at United Way offices at 1601 E. Front St. Building 2 in Port Angeles or mailed to PO Box 937, Port Angeles WA 98362.
