What’s New at the Market

Saturday, May 5 ‑ Opening Day

Every Saturday, May-October

9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Sequim Farmers Market has the local community in mind with the start of our 23rd year of Saturday markets, with the Opening Day set for May 5!

At the market you can immerse yourself in the intricate culture of artisan products. All of the new and returning vendors live here in Clallam County, and the majority of vendors live right here in Sequim. There will be an impressive diversity of local talent on display for your enjoyment every Saturday.

The market is opening May 5 with farm fresh eggs and nursery starts, honey, teas and culinary seasonings, and delectable baked goods from Sequim’s hometown bakeries. You will encounter both new and familiar faces when you visit our artisan vendors, who are experts in their craft and offerings: handmade clothing and fabric designs, jewelry, woodwork, beauty products, pottery, glass and more. You will have to see it to believe it!

Be sure to stay for lunch to appreciate the flavors of authentic Filipino food, made from scratch and prepared at the market. Enjoy your meal while listening to live music on the Whimsy Park stage.

In appreciation of the Sequim community (yes, that’s you!), the market is hosting outreach events twice a month for the length of the market season with special activities, information and market coupons that can be redeemed when you purchase from our vendors.

The first outreach event of the season is Senior Appreciation Day on May 19. Thank you to Park View Villas for making this event possible.

Opening Day is this Saturday, with vendors occupying Whimsy Park and the Northeast corner of the main downtown intersection during the Irrigation Festival street fair. Live music is provided by Cort Armstrong from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on the Whimsy Park stage.

On May 12 and every Saturday through the end of October, you will find the market at its permanent location on the Civic Center Plaza, at the corner of Sequim Avenue and Cedar Street.

Locally grown produce will be available at the market starting in June and July.

We are tremendously grateful for the Proud Partners of the Sequim Farmers Market: many Sequim businesses that value our local community and provide support for the market in 2018. A special thanks to Bell & Davis Law, Brokers Group Real Estate and First Federal Savings & Loan.

Thank you!
