Eastern Hills Community Church leaders say they strive to create an atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable and know of the love of Jesus Christ.

They say the church is Bible-based, with members coming from a number of different Christian denominations.

Their goal is to bring people together for a personal encounter with Jesus and to accomplish the unfinished T.A.S.K.S.

• Telling others about Jesus (evangelism)
• Associating with believers (fellowship)
• Singing his praises and speaking his word (worship)
• Knowing and doing the will of God (discipleship)
• Serving others (ministry)

Church leaders say that at Eastern Hills, people can expect:
• A warm welcome
• A relaxed, friendly and loving atmosphere
• Casual dress
• Contemporary music that is celebrative and brings praise to Jesus
• Relevant messages
• Quality children's time and nursery

Services
Sunday worship services are at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., with nursery care provided at both.
They average about 350 people each Sunday and celebrated their 10th anniversary earlier this month.
Members come from Sequim and Port Angeles. They participate in the Irrigation Festival parade and donate to a variety of clothing, food and toy drives.
