Last registration for Wolf Pack is Saturday

The final day for players to sign up for Sequim Wolf Pack Youth Football is Saturday, July 24.

Youths ages 6-12 are eligible to play.

Registration is from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Sequim High School football stadium parking lot, 601 N. Sequim Ave. Registration fee is $150.

Birth certificates and physical examinations are required of all players to complete their registrations.

New Sequim Wolf Pack equipment and uniforms are being delivered and will be issued to registered players between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug.14, at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, 400 W. Fir St.

Dr. Asma A. Weber is slated to be on hand between 9-11 a.m. that day to offer physical examinations for Sequim Wolf Pack players and youngsters in any organized Sequim youth sports program. Cost is $20 per player. Applicants not able to make the July 24 registration may sign up at 9 a.m.

A limited number of scholarships for registration are available based upon family need.

Sequim Wolf Pack gives local youths an opportunity to learn and play adult-supervised tackle football. Wolf Pack fields three youth football teams in the North Olympic Youth Football League this fall: a prep team for youths ages 6-8, a junior varsity team for youths ages 9 and 10, and a varsity team for 11- and 12-year-old players.

The newly formed North Olympic Conference includes youth football teams from Port Townsend, Chimacum, Port Angeles, Neah Bay, Forks and the Wolf Pack from Sequim.
