Youth art workshop starts Saturday at P.A. library

The January and February Kids Create programs at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., feature creating with clay, presented by local artist Dani LaBlond.

This is a two-part workshop, from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, and Saturday, Feb. 16.

The January session is devoted to creating with clay. The February session completes the clay project and also present a painting activity.

The Kids Create art series, host by the library on the third Saturday of the month, allows children to gain hands-on knowledge and experience with various artistic media.

Kids Create programs are recommended for children 7-12 years of age, are limited to 25 attendees and require advance registration.

To register, call 417-8500 ext. 7732 or e-mail to youth@nols.org.
