Free workshops target young artists

Young adults in grades 6-12 are invited to get creative at North Olympic Library branches this summer with a series of free art workshops with Melissa Klein.
The Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., offers the workshops at 2 p.m. Fridays, July 19 and 26, and Aug. 2. The Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., holds the workshops at 2 p.m. Thursdays, July 18 and 25, and Aug. 1.
Workshops include history of art, different styles and mediums, creating cover art and mentored work time. Students need not preregister and may attend any or all of the workshops.
