Library celebrates voracious readers

The North Olympic Library System announces this year’s summer reading grand prize drawing winners. Abigail Heistand, Finnegan Devault and Sebastian LaRouge won park passes to Olympic National Park.

Anna Wooten, Madeline Dietzman, Ella Ventura and Jade Raupp won KoboArcs, (an e-reader). Kaylin Signor of Clallam Bay was the grand prize winner of a Netbook. Each summer reading participant received a free book. Events and prizes were made possible through the generous support of the Port Angeles, Clallam Bay, Forks and Sequim Friends of the Library as well as private donations.

Elementary school aged children were challenged to read (or be read to) for 14 hours and were entered into a drawing for a KoboArc, an e-reader device. Young adults who read three books received a free book and were entered into a drawing for a Netbook.
