Bible and science programs

Faith Baptist Church and Child Evangelism Fellowship sponsor a series of Bible and science programs Aug. 14-15 at the church, 7652 Old Olympic Highway, Sequim.

Dr. Tom Hoyle, who has a Ph.D. in Christian apologetics from California Graduate School of Theology, presents the program that includes creation vs. evolution and biblical research.

Topics are:

10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 - "Dinosaurs, Huge Creatures and Creation"

9:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 15 - "It Must Have Been Created"

11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 15 - "The Case of the Missing Link"

6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15 - "UFOs, Aliens and the Bible"

Saturday's program is focused on children and includes a free hot dog lunch.

Hoyle founded Bible and Science Ministries in Tacoma and is a colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Oneness blessings

Oneness blessings are offered 6:30-8:30 p.m. the first Thursday of the month at Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 73 Howe Road, Port Angeles.
