'New in Town' conversation set

If you are new to Sequim or considering relocating to Sequim, the "New in Town Conversation" is the place to be.

The April 23 event is from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, at the Sequim branch of First Federal, 333 N. Sequim Ave.

All other dates — June 25, Aug. 27 and Oct. 22 — are held from 4-6 p.m. at the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Visitors Center, 1192 E. Washington St., Sequim.

It's an opportunity to meet other people who are new to Sequim, for Sequim natives who will help tell the story of Sequim and its history, representatives of nonprofits with ideas for volunteering and more information about handling the stresses of relocation.

The "New in Town Conversation" is a co-sponsored program of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce and Terrific-Transitions, a company focused on facilitating success with major life changes.

Light refreshments will be served and prepared materials will be available.

RSVP by calling 683-6197 or call Catherine Mich at 582-1081.
