Milestone: McAndie gains Rotary honor

Megan McAndie is the Sequim Rotary Club’s Student of the Month for March. McAndie, daughter of John and Carolyn McAndie, is president of SHS’s Be The Change club, band and Troop 1492 Venture Crew.

She’s also involved with the school’s Interact Club and Honor Society. She is captain of the SHS girls bowling team and played all four years at Sequim High.

A Sequim resident her whole life, McAndie enjoys baking, crocheting, playing piano, crafting and hiking.

She plans on attending Pacific Lutheran University to work toward a doctorate in chemical engineering.
