Encounter SHS robots at Sequim Library

On Saturday, June 7, from 1-2 p.m. at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., members of the Sequim High School robotics team, Skynet Robotics NW, offer demonstrations of the robot they created this year as part of the FIRST robotic competition.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics is an annual worldwide robotic challenge. About 8,000 students representing 64 teams, including Sequim’s, participated in the Seattle Regional competition this year.

Come and play catch with a robot and marvel at the feat of engineering achieved by local students.
