Mike Cays exhibits Leo Tolstoy’s epic 19th-century Russian novel during June’s “Freemasonry in ‘War and Peace’” lecture at Sequim’s Masonic Lodge, 700 S. Fifth Ave.

It was the fourth of a six-part public lecture series celebrating the lodge’s upcoming 100th anniversary.

Cays, whose great-uncle Ray E. Cays co-founded the lodge in 1915, will become lodge master in 2015.

“Knights Templar Masons” is the next presentation slated for 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 22.
