Ecology classes offered

Ecology of the Dungeness River Class will be on Thursdays at 9 a.m. from Sept. 4-Oct. 9.

The cost is $50 for members, $75 for non-members, free to regular volunteers and docents

This is a six-week field-study class is designed to explore the Dungeness River through its geology, plants, animals and people.

The class and coinciding field trips take a big-picture look at the river, from the mouth to the mountains, looking at changes in the river, both natural and man-made.

Register now by calling 681-4076 or stopping by the River Center at 2151 W. Hendrickson Road, Sequim.
