Mountain Beaver spied at Sequim Bay State Park Mountain Beaver (Aplodontia rufa) with a mouth full of just cut vegetation was taken in Sequim Bay State Park Sunday, Aug. 10, 2009. Being nocturnal, he is rarely seen. He seemed un-concerned about my presence until my dog got carried away barking at him. |
