Adrian Xavier at Studium Generale

Seattle musician Adrian Xavier will perform at 12:35 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at the Studium Generale program of Peninsula College, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

Xavier has performed for more than a decade, extensively for benefits for the environment, indigenous peoples and youth organizations. His styles range across reggae, world fusion, folk, smooth soul, dub, jazz, rock and hip hop.

His 2004 debut album "R-Nature" features songs "Mother Nature," "R-Love R-Creation" and "Redemption Road."

One of his recent benefit concerts was for Haiti at the Vera Project, with all proceeds going to Doctors without Borders.
