Tidepools opens annual art, music and literature contest

The Peninsula College 2013 Tidepools staff invites submissions of poetry, prose (short stories and essays under 3,000 words), art, photography and original music for publication in the annual literary and art magazine.

Cash prizes are awarded in adult and youth categories for poetry, prose, art, photography and music. The contest is judged blindly and is open to amateur and professional writers, musicians and artists of all ages in Clallam and Jefferson counties.

Non-contest entries will not be eligible for prizes and do not require an entry fee to be considered for publication in the magazine. Entries not selected by the judges still may be chosen by the editors for publication. Everyone who is published receives a free copy of the magazine.
