Fourth Friday reading features Army nurse vet

Elizabeth Ann Scarborough, a Vietnam veteran, Army nurse and award-winning fantasy/science fiction author, is the featured writer for Sequim’s Fourth Friday Reading at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Rainshadow Coffee Roasting Co., 157 W. Cedar St.

 

Scarborough has published 22 novels; the Nebula Award-winning “The Healer’s War” draws from her nursing experience in Vietnam. She also has collaborated on 16 novels with “Dragonrider” author Anne McCaffrey.

 

The event is free; arrive early to order custom coffee drinks.
