MAC hosts free quilting demo

The Friendship Quilters, a group of six, demonstrates several quilting methods from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at The Museum and Arts Center in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Exhibit Center, 175 W. Cedar St., Sequim.
Members present such non-machine techniques as hand-piecing, hand-appliqué and hand-quilting and display examples of finished pieces.  A Quilt of Valor made by the group is on display at the center as part of a new Vietnam veterans history exhibit.
The art demo is free and open to the public.
Artists interested in conducting a summer or fall demo should contact MAC Exhibit Center manager Steph Ellyas at 683-8110 or
