Photographer and artist Jan Kepley is featured artist at Nourish, 1345 S. Sequim Ave. There is an artist reception from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, July 7.

N.O.W. shows watercolors

The N.O.W. group of watercolor artists will be the featured artists for July at the Gallery at the Fifth Avenue, 500 W. Hendrickson Road, Sequim. A reception is scheduled from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, July 7.
 
Auditions set for ‘Becky’s New Car’
Olympic Theatre Arts holds auditions for its fall production, “Becky’s New Car,” at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, at the OTA theater, 414 N. Sequim Ave.
Needed are three women and four men ages 20s to 60s.
“Becky’s New Car” is a comic cruise through the perils of middle-aged longing and regret, with serious overtones about choices and consequences.
Performances are on weekends Sept. 6-22. Call director Loren Johnson at 683-7326.

‘Tropical Delight’ spices annual quilt show

Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club’s Annual Show, “Tropical Delight,” runs from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday-Sunday, July 19-21, at Sequim Middle School, 301 W. Hendrickson Road. The event includes quilt exhibits, craft demonstrations, vendor booths, door prizes, the popular heirloom quilt showings and the Country Store of handcrafted items.
This year’s featured quilter is Geneva Coffin. Park free at the school or catch the Lavender Weekend shuttle bus.
 
‘Rendezvous for the Arts’ blends music, art

The Port Angeles Symphony hosts a Rendezvous for the Arts on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Lost Mountain Lodge, 303 Sunny View Lane, Sequim. Ensembles from the symphony play, hors d’oeuvres are served and more than 25 artists present their work, with a portion of all sales benefitting the symphony. Tickets are $25; select noon-1:30 p.m. or 2-3:30 p.m. Call 457-5579 or 683-5524.

Guitar workshop offered for beginners
Instructors Judy Harding and Susan Hove-Pabst offer an intensive guitar workshop for beginners from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 22-26, at the Crescent School in Joyce.
