Say ‘Howdy’ to Concert Series

The Sequim Library opens its six-week Summertime Music Outdoor Concert Series with songwriter/guitarist Howly Slim and versatile instrumentalist Sandy Summers from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 19. The free all-ages concerts take place behind the library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., on the outdoor stage and bleachers funded by Friends of the Sequim Library. Bring blankets and lawn chairs for additional seating. The series continues with Scott Sullivan (July 26), Olympic Express Big Band (Aug. 2), Dungeness (Aug. 9), Old Sidekicks (Aug. 16) and Witherow (Aug. 23). Call 683-1161. Submitted photo
