PFOA hosts music, art anniversary event


Peninsula Friends of Animals celebrates its 10th anniversary with a “Rockin’ the Arts” event from noon-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Landing Mall, 115 E. Railroad Ave., Port Angeles. Five local music groups perform, along with a belly dancer, face painting, mask-making and clowns from 1-3 p.m. A silent auction features regional art, Mariners tickets, wine and more. PFOA potholders and T-shirts by Barky are available. Admission is free; donations of pet food and cat toys accepted.
