Grab your dancing shoes


District 15 of the Washington Old-time Fiddlers hosts a community contra/square dance beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road, Sequim.

 

Caller Sherry Nevins teaches the dances, no experience or partner is needed. Polkas, schottisches, waltzes and other couple dances also will be offered.

 

A $5 donation is suggested.

 

The group holds a business meeting at 11 a.m. that day, with jamming before and after the meeting. The public is invited.
