Clay workshops for youth set

On the Second Saturdays of October and November, the Port Angeles Main Library (2210 S. Peabody St.) offers a clay mask making activity, presented by local artist Dani LaBlond.

This is a two part workshop, starting on Oct. 12 and resuming Nov. 9, with both sessions offered from 2-4 p.m.

The October session is devoted to creating with clay. The November session completes the clay project and also presents a painting activity.

The programs are recommended for children 7-12 years of age, are limited to 25 attendees, and require advance registration.
