Theater lovers gathered Sunday, June 10, to support Sequim's Olympic Theatre Arts at its annual gala with live and silent auctions.
About 90 supporters turned out for the festivities, which included a showing of the Tony Awards.
The theater's board of directors honored four couples and the founding father of the theater for their contributions.
Brown and Sara Maloney, Bill and Esther Littlejohn, Jim and Pat Zettas, and Bob and Elaine Caldwell received engraved crystal pedestal bowls for their support of the theater, particularly in their efforts to help build the main stage.
Rick Waites received the Founding Star award for establishing OTA 30 years ago with a production of “Krapp's Last Tape.”
Sharon DelaBarre, board president, said the gala helps with operating expenses for the theater because tickets sales cover about 52 percent of the theater's annual budget.
The next production, “Bullshot Crummond,” runs July 6-22. Contact OTA, 414 N. Sequim Ave., at 683-7326.
