Sunshine yellow is the theme color for the Aug. 3 First Friday Art Walk

Sequim, a free self-guided tour of art exhibits downtown and beyond. Many participants will add to the fun by wearing shades of yellow as they enjoy artist receptions, snacks, music and creative activities from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

This month the Art Walk territory expands to include Railroad Bridge Park, 2151 W. Hendrickson Road, with the fifth annual Art in the Park at the Dungeness River Audubon Center, featuring artists’ takes on the natural wonders of the Olympic Peninsula. It’s a fundraiser for the center’s educational programs.

In downtown Sequim, every artistic medium is represented:

• The Sequim Arts Summer Showcase hosts its August show at the Downtown Sequim Visitor Information Center, 163 W. Washington St.
• The Gallery at Dungeness Design, 520 N. Sequim Ave., features “The Cambrian Tree Shop Revisited,” a retrospective of decades of work in glass, wood and other media by Sequim artist Richard Riesau.
• The artists cooperative at the Blue Whole Gallery showcases watercolorist George Zien and wood sculptor Christian Speidel at 129 W. Washington St. Meet the artists at the Blue Whole’s reception.
• Almost next door, Pacific Mist Books (121 W. Washington St.) hosts nature photographer Stephen Cunliffe, winner of the Canon Grand Prize (National Parks) competition, along with Mary Ellen McCaffree and Anne McNamee Corbett, the authors of “Politics of the Possible,” with refreshments by Cameron’s Cafe and Creative Catering.
• The Dove’s Nest, 139 W. Washington St., exhibits photographs by Ken Beale and “retired gnomes” statuary by Dr. Thomas Clark.
• The Sunshine Café features Catherine Mix’s colorful works and serves chef’s choice samples at 145 W. Washington St.
• Full Moon Candle Co., 161 W. Washington St., show acrylics by Dee Green, oils by Diana Miller, bowls by Don Porter, prints by Randy Radock and Randall Tomaras and matted artwork by Grace Shepard.
• At 119 E. Washington St., Pondicherri hosts singer Judy Clark, master of styles from big band to folk ballads.
• Dungeness Bay Wine & Cheese features music by country blues artist Thom Davis at 123 E. Washington St.
• Gallery on the Walls showcases Sally Cays and Patricia Taynton at 128 E. Washington St. inside the Sequim Vision Center.
• Doodlebugs Scrapbooking has a Creative Café Art Bar at 138 W. Washington St., with its “Happy Hour” project from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
• The Museum & Arts Center, 175 W. Cedar St., features Priscilla Patterson’s paintings in “Observations of Air, Land, Sea and the Local Coffee Shop” and artwork by the Pacific Northwest Wood Artisans. An artists reception is from 5-8 p.m.
• At 157 W. Cedar St., Rainshadow Roasting Company shows Skip Kratzer’s work and hosts live music by Fret Noir.
• Experience artwork by Sallie Radock, live music and award-winning wines at Wind Rose Cellars, 155 B. W. Cedar St.
• The Sequim Library hosts Saundra Cutsinger’s artwork with live music by mountain blues musical duo, Cort and Kia Armstrong, at 630 N. Sequim Ave.
