Evangelist speaks in Port Angeles
Evangelist Dea Warford, a former Ku Klux Klan member, shares his story of reformation and healing through faith using prophetic words and humorous messages from his life at three services at Harbor of Hope Foursquare Church, 1018 W. 16th St., Port Angeles. "Spirit of Life" to be focus of series
The Rev. Amanda Aikman offers a nine-session class based on the hymn “Spirit of Life” from noon-1:15 p.m. the first Sunday of each month beginning Sunday, Oct. 7, at the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 73 Howe Road, Port Angeles (Agnew). National columnist speaks at Trinity
USA Today columnist Tom Krattenmaker, a contributor to its "On Religion" page, will speak on religion in politics at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at Trinity United Methodist Church. 100 Blake Ave.

Krattenmaker, also a former reporter for the Associated Press and the Orange County (Calif.) Register, presents "Breaking Formation: The Changing Religious Dynamic in Politics." Tickets, which are free, are required and may be obtained by phoning the church at 683-5367 or by e-mailing jan@sequimtumc.org. Those who wish may donate at the event to defray expenses.
