Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church, 935 N. Sequim Ave., has extended its adult education program.
The Rev. Gene Bradbury, a local author and retired pastor, and George Lindamood cover “Stages of Faith,” covering the changes in faith over time, based on a book by John Fowler at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday evenings. Lenten services run March 5-April 9. After that Bradbury will lead discussion using a preview of the printed edition of his manuscript “After Jesus: Christianity, The First Generation.”
The Sunday program at 9:45 a.m. starting Feb. 9 will focus on video series “The Other Side of History: Daily Life in the Ancient World.” In March, John Beitzel leads “Contemporary Topics in Ethics" with the video series "Era of the Crusades" to follow in April and a discussion of “Speaking Christian,” a book by Marcus Borg. Kari Olsen and Paul Wessel lead the sessions.
The Tuesday afternoon Bible study at 1:30 p.m. continues “A Cruise Through the Bible,” an informal discussion based on a book by Bishop John Shelby Spong. The Rev. Jack Anderson and Bradbury lead discussions.
