‘Warmies’ use false science

Last week’s letters in the Sequim Gazette prompted me to wonder why Warmies promote their voodoo science even though there’s been zero proof of manmade warming. Zero — None — Nada! I think I’ve found two reasons thereto.

Last week’s letters in the Sequim Gazette prompted me to wonder why Warmies promote their voodoo science even though there’s been zero proof of manmade warming. Zero — None — Nada! I think I’ve found two reasons thereto.

First, there’s money; the Eco-Industrial Complex (wherein I once served) receives hundreds of billions of dollars to build and operate earth-sensing (‘weather’) platforms. Big bucks likewise flow to the “scientists” serving the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) – bucks they’d otherwise never see. They’ve found the pot of gold — and milk it for all it’s worth.

I’ve seen monetary largess promote governmental Warmie advocacy. I, in a summer visit to NASA’s Goddard Space Center, was shown a sequence of images taken over Atlanta depicting clouds building as the day progressed. “See, this proves that manmade structures cause global warming,” said the presenter with almost unabashed glee (having survived a seemingly infinite number of hot southern summer days in which clouds always built up, I was astonished by this “scientist’s” nonsensical cause and effect relationship)! I politely sat mute.

The second reason is dogmatic: A Red-to-Green transformation underwrites Warmie advocacy. I’m convinced that many of the anti-capitalist, anti-prosperity Reds (communists) of yesteryear have simply morphed into the anti-capitalist, anti-prosperity Greens of today. Are these Greens camouflaged Reds?

If so, it’s the same old, “punish winners, reward losers” agenda of the last century wrapped into a modern, politicall correct fable. It is thereby regressive — and certainly not “progressive” — because it inevitably fails.
