Sequim’s Blue Whole Gallery sets winter hours

From January through March 2018, the Blue Whole Gallery, 129 W. Washington St. will be closed on Sundays. For Monday through Saturday, the gallery will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Call 360-681-6033 or see bluewholegallery.com for more information.

Gussman featured in kick off of 2018 Adventure Series

The 2018 Adventure Travel Series kicks off on Friday, Jan. 12, with “Before Drones I was Tied to the Earth,” a presentation from peninsula videographer/photographer John Gussman.

Set for 7-9 p.m., Gussman’s presentation explores techniques and etiquette for using drones to enhance the art form of photographic travel documentary by the photo documentarian of “Return of the River” and recent North Olympic Land Trust productions.
