Big boost for new B&G Club

Scott Schwagler, left, president of the North Peninsula Building Association, and Kelly Fox, CEO Hartnagel Building Supply and Angeles Millwork ,give a donation to Norma Turner, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula board director, in Port Angeles last week. The donation — $3,400 from the building association, plus a matching $3,400 from Hartnagel Angeles Millwork — is in support of their fundraising efforts for a new club in Port Angeles. The donation was made possible through community partnerships and member donations at NPBA’s annual Gala & Silent Auction, as well monthly dinner meeting raffles in which all proceeds goes toward the North Peninsula Building Association’s Community Support Fund. Hartnagel Building Supply, an employee-owned company, announced the night of the gala that they would match all funds raised for the evening. “The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula provides a service that supports the youth in our community with wider long-term effects not only here locally, but throughout the U.S.,” Schwagler said. “We are humbled to provide these donations to such a worthy cause and we are thankful for the support they provide in our community.” See www.npba.info.
