BLOCK Fest comes to Sequim on July 25

The Parenting Matters Foundation, First Teacher Program and the North Olympic Library System will offer BLOCK Fest, a research-based block play program geared towards children from 8 months to 8 years (and their caregivers), at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 25, at Sequim Middle School, 301 W. Hendrickson Road.

At BLOCK Fest, children can rotate from station to station in a self-guided tour to play with a variety of different blocks. Parents and/or caregivers accompanying their child are strongly encouraged to join in the play. Socks are required for children and adults participating in this event.

BLOCK Fest was initially supported by a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to the Parenting Matters Foundation of Sequim.
