City seeks applicants for arts commission vacancy

The city seeks applicants to serve the remainder of a four-year term on the city’s Arts Advisory Commission.

To obtain an application, visit City Hall at 152 W. Cedar St., call 360-683-4139 or visit the city’s website at www.sequimwa.gov.

Applications are to be submitted to city clerk Karen Kuznek-Reese at the Sequim Civic Center in city hall or via email at kkuznek@sequimwa.gov.

The term for this position expires in December 2018.

Applicants must be a resident within the Clallam County boundaries of the Sequim School District.

This voluntary commission advises the city on matters related to art and culture.

Commission members are appointed upon the basis of demonstrated interest in, and knowledge and support of, the arts.

The commission serves as an advisory body to the city in connection with cultural and artistic endeavors and projects in the city.
