Down Home Holiday Bazaar scheduled for Saturday

The Sequim High School Band Boosters host the group’s ninth-annual Down Home Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at the SHS cafeteria, 601 N. Sequim Ave.

The bazaar features local vendors selling hand-crafted gift items such as jewelry, candles and ornaments. Fun raffle prizes and a special performance from the Sequim High School jazz band will also be featured.

Money raised at this event will go towards all Sequim High School band programs.

“We are thrilled to provide this venue for our local arts and crafts vendors to reach Holiday Shoppers and all for a good cause. It’s a fun way to get into the spirit of the holidays,” Sara Benjamin, president of the Band Boosters Club, said.

The Sequim High marching band performs at home football and basketball games and marches in a variety of parades, including the Macy’s Day Parade on the Friday following Thanksgiving.
