Movie and a Meal explores evolution

“Evolution’s Achilles’ Heels” will be screened at the Peninsula Evangelical Friends Church’s free monthly Movie and a Meal series, starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, in the Agnew Friends Hall, 1241 N. Barr Road between Sequim and Port Angeles.

Fifteen scientists explore flaws in the theory of evolution in this 96-minute 2014 documentary.

A supper of homemade soups with bread or rolls and home-baked cookies will be served at 6, and the movie will start as soon as people are served.

“Everyone is welcome to come and watch the movie while we eat together,” social committee clerk Vicki Carlisle said. “We’ll be done by 8 p.m. for a family-friendly evening.”
