Community groups plan anniversary celebration

The Interfaith Community of Clallam County and Center for Spiritual Living Port Angeles are both celebrating one year of community and connections on the Olympic Peninsula. Their family friendly and free anniversary celebration from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, July 29, is open to all. Bring a potluck dish to share, a chair or blanket, and enjoy their connecting activities and the live music of Ivy and Joel Ricci. The event will be 254 N. Bagley Creek Road, Port Angeles. Fellowship service to feature seasonal songs

Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will hold a musical service entitled “Seasonings: Turning the Starwheel Through the Year” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 30. Choir director Joel Yelland will lead the choir, congregation and soloists through the seasons with readings from spiritual and literary sources. OUUF is at 1033 N. Barr Road between Sequim and Port Angeles. Barr Road is accessible from US Highway 101 during the McDonald Bridge closure on Old Olympic Highway.
