Get creative with CreativiTea workshops

Enjoy a zero-waste afternoon of paper crafts, hot tea and good company with the North Olympic Library System, and Clallam County Waste Prevention.

CreativiTea programs will be held at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St. at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, and the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22.

Attendees will be invited to repurpose discarded book pages to create new holiday decorations. There will be plenty of time to chat, sip and add personal touches to repurposed creations with a variety of craft supplies.

Additionally, there will be a lesson on how to re-use household materials for wrapping paper and holiday cards.

The workshop is appropriate for all ages, though youth should be accompanied by an adult; registration is not required.

All supplies are provided.

This program is supported by the Friends of the Library and is a partnership with the Clallam County Waste Prevention Program and WSU Extension.
