Keepers of the Faith sets Sequim concert

The gospel group Keepers of the Faith come to Sequim for a free concert set for 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at the Sequim Seventh-day Adventist Church, 30 Sanford Lane.

A freewill love offering will be taken to support Keepers of the Faith and their travel expenses.

Keepers of the Faith They began as a prison ministry several years ago in Hawaii. Making Washington State home, they have since toured throughout Canada, across the U.S. and different parts of the world.

The group was featured on Daystar’s TV Gospel Music Showcase earlier this year.

“Me and Lima (Taito, second tenor), we’re actually former prisoners ourselves,” Agaese Taito, the group’s baritone, said in the Daystar showcase.

“God said the best sermon you can give is your testimony,” he said.”From the background that we’ve come from that’s all we’ve been doing, is sharing what Christ has taken us out of.”
