Library system offers technology open houses

The North Olympic Library System offers thousands of titles for you to use at home or on your mobile devices — music, movies, audiobooks and eBooks, whether the library is open or not.

For patrons who may be wondering how to access all these resources — and where to go if there’s a problem — the library sytem offers a Tech-Know-logy Open House. Library staff will be on hand to talk about different types of devices and help with individual questions as time permits. Attendees will also be able to schedule a 30-minute one-on-one follow-up appointment with staff for personalized assistance on a future date that fits their schedules.

The Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., hosts a Tech-Know-logy Open House from 3-4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22. The Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., hosts a similar open house from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Additional appointments can be made by calling or emailing your local branch of the North Olympic Library System. For more information about this and other services at your Library, visit www.nols.org, send an email to Discover@nols.org, or call 360.417.8500.
