Maier Hall Concert Series kicks off Nov. 10

Kicking off the annual Maier Hall Concert Series, Pacific Brass will perform a wide array of classical music, pops, seasonal fare, show tunes and more at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10, at Peninsula College’s Maier Performance Hall, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

Several members of this quintet are on the faculty of University of Puget Sound. Individually they hold current or past principal positions with Vancouver (B.C.) Symphony, Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra, Bolshoi Ballet, Auburn Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Opera, Eugene Symphony, Tacoma Symphony and the Yakima Symphony Orchestra.

These musicians have also performed extensively with Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Tacoma Symphony, the Opera Company of Boston, Northwest Sinfonietta, Northwest Chamber Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the 5th Avenue Theater and several symphony orchestras.

Other concert series dates include the Pacific Coast Trio, pairing of winds and piano, on Tuesday, Feb. 11, and instrumentalist Anson Ka-lik Sin on Friday, May 15.
